Last night on the local news the field reporter said:
“previous rulings in the past”
I’m wondering if that might be redundant, what do you think?

Tonight when I got home from work there was a UPS truck parked in the street.   I parked in my driveway and started up the walk and noticed the UPS driver carrying a large box and running from the front door of the house he was trying to deliver to, to the house across the street

Why can’t men ask for directions?

Would it be possible for the contestants on Top Chef to describe their dish in less than ten minutes, after all there are only 3 ingredients on the plate.

When people get up before the sun rises why do they call it “the butt crack of dawn”

I’ve never thought of dawn as the “buttcrack” of anything.

Also, is butt crack one or two words, google and Wordpress disagree on this.

You know what makes for a nice end to the day when the temperature reaches over 105 degrees?

Finding a parking spot right at the entrance to the grocery store when it’s 5:20 in the afternoon.

hanging by a wire on a ladder

decipherment by linlah, May 2, 2010

I was somewhere on the Internet today reading someones blog, or rather looking at photos on someone’s else’s blog and was reminded of this photo.

I took this shot 6 years ago when the power company was installing a series of poles and power lines that criss-crossed part of town and run down along the railroad tracks. They used a helicopter to bring parts to the guys on the line and the pole.

I used this picture as my background on my computer at work to remind myself, as if i needed to, that I don’t work up in the air, or in a dangerous occupation where I hang a ladder from a wire and helicopters bring in the parts I’m putting together.

To put this job into prespective here is what it looks like from the safety of the ground.
